Ship’s log: Thursday, November 10, 2005

Once again I have been yelled at, yelled at, and yelled at for not keeping this up to date. So here it is.
Can you believe that this is was my 10th Bug opener? My goodness, how time flies. We had many great dives and locations for diving this year. The only place we did not go to was San Nic. It just has not been producing and in my opinion a waste of time to go to. I just got back from the last 3-day bug extravaganza and it feels good to be back for awhile and just go on single day trips.
The best quotes are up next.
“Dad, use the hoop net!
When do we get to see land again?
Dad, just go buy them.
Moose Brothers with limits, the Apocalypse has begun.
I’m going to be the first off next time. The whole boat laughing and someone said it wasn’t that funny. I said yes it was.
I put my bag down and an octopus grabbing it and pulled it into a hole.
You dropped my bug down that hole on purpose, you SOB.
Did not, did too, did not, did too, ect, ect, ect, ect.
We are going to have to separate the two of them, they are separated.
Shut up Arty: Shut up Mike, ect, ect, ect.
Gawd, its quiet with out them, yeh but not much fun.
Shit.
I haven’t said I was going to take up sky diving this year, but I was close.
See, we are getting better.
They call him the “Splash”, look at him go, look at him go……
Shut up Arty, shut Mike, ect, ect, ect…………………
Over all this was a very good start of the season. On one trip the entire boat of 27 limited out on the first day. They were all very happy. I will be adding picture soon, but for now Chris is very busy at his real job. He says…..
We did not get the large bugs as in the past but nice healthy, legal bugs, and lots of them.
Almost forgot. This last trip we made a night dive and the plankton bloom was so great that the water looked blue to the divers at night. They said it was a real challenge to find their way around.

Until next time………….
