Time flies when one is having so much fun, or something like that. Last weekend we had some world class diving. On Friday night we headed up to PV for some "bug hunting". The ocean was flat, and still not too cold out. After about an hour I turned in to PV. Found a spot that we had done very well in the past, and after a brief conversation with the DM about whether or not a diver could dive, all went it. (If you go to Diver. net, and check out the BBS you will see much more on this subject). We watched as the divers went their different ways. I told them that the shallows were the hot spot, well, we'll see. The divers returned after about 45 min. A lot of tails of the big ones, and a lot of bugs brought on board. All divers ended up in the deeper water as the swells had turned the shallows into a cloudy washing machine. A couple of limits came onboard, along with many happy faces.
The second dive was around the corner. Lots of bugs here. 3 limits were taken, and just about everybody on the boat got at least one. A very happy lot. Then back to San Pedro. This was the 2 dive special.
Saturday we went to Catalina. The first dive was at ship rock. Great Vis, and everyone enjoyed the dive. Second dive was at Lion's Head, and again great vis, and many old bottles brought aboard. One was a very old milk bottle and another was a 5 sided something. We looked for the squid, but none yet. The third dive was at Bird Rock. Again great vis and great diving. Everyone had a good time.
Sunday we went back to Catalina and the first dive was at Indian Rock in Emerald Bay. Two classes that had a good time. Water was clear, and no swell. The current did come up and a couple of pickups were made. The second dive was also at Indian Rock, as everyone liked so much. The third dive was at Lion's Head. I was still trying to see if the squid have come in yet. No they have not. Again all enjoyed the dive, looking for treasure. Last year we found an all brass and copper hand held, pump fire extinguisher. Age unknown.
I hope everyone has a fun Turkey Day, and eat too much.

Captain Tim
