Joy, AKA Joyce, is retiring and would like to take this time to thank all of the wonderful people that she and I have had the great opportunity to talk with, meet, and help. Joy, my Mother, has helped answering the phones for about 12 years now, and is normally the first person that anyone talks to at GREAT ESCAPE CHARTERS.
Sometimes she would get things confused and misspelled almost everyone’s name but she enjoyed every minute of it. She took over the phones when she was about 72 years old and I believe that giving her this job kept her alert and alive.
She has now gotten to the point in her life that the heart is willing, but the body is not, at the tender age of 85. Yesterday, July 9th was the last time that my Mother will be answering the phones. She has had to pass the torch on to me.
I take this time to thank my Mother for all the help she has given me and I thank every one of you for your patience with her.
