Well this years bug season was just ok. There is a hugh decline in the divers that are interested in going. If this trend continues, Bug Season will be over in a few more years. Not for the lack of bugs as some state. Bugs are plentiful and everywhere. The hoop netters though, are making an impact. So we will have to wait and see what the future offers us
Seas were not very friendly this year. We never made it out past SBI. Catalina produced some very good game though. Dive trips were ok with nothing really special going on.
Next year will be an interesting year. It looks like a major player in the dive game will not be around for next year. On the flip side of this. Perhaps this is the best thing that has happened in years for California. The “Mom and Pop” stores will return and the hugh corporate thinking will be a thing of the past. One can only hope.
Had to JR down today. He lost his battle with some sort of liver disorder. Mom had been taking care of him since the beginning of Oct. JR was the best friend and dog that I ever had. He will be missed.
I wish everyone a very great Christmas and hope to give a real review before the end of the year.
