This was first written while we on vacation last year, and the first time I new there was a problem with this. I complained to the webmaster for 8 months before this was corrected. The last 4 months are my fault. So as the famous saying goes…………..I’m booock………….

I wrote this while on a cruise and tried to post it but, Chris has been having problems with his web site, so here it is. Late but not forgotten.

Ship’s log: Monday, September 11, 2006

I was going to start out with something else, until I entered the day and date.

In the spirit of what is written below I rewrote my opening statement. But just ask me sometime how I really feel about today, and what has been done by us.

I will now start with what I was going to say. Sometimes we all get callus, living in LA. Today a person stopped me on the street of Ketchikan, Alaska and told me he liked my tee shirt. I thanked him still expecting him to hit me up for money. He stuck out his hand to shake mine and told me that his knick name was “Moose”. He went to tell my Mother and me that he was 10#’s plus when he was born and that his mother and father called him that. He thanked me again, and said he just wanted to make us smile.
Well, mister Moose, thank you, thank you very much. It is nice to get reminded every now and then there are nice people on the street and not everyone is out for something.
Can anyone believe that “Bug Season” as all but upon us? Only a couple weeks left, then the year is over. But, this is some of the best times of the year. I can already hear the excuses, the name-calling, the pushing and shoving: and all this just by the “Moose Brothers”, oh the humanities.
Diving has been great the last few weeks and the water is getting very nice and warm for the bugs to come out in. The “Green Buoy” is waiting for us, along with all the usual spots and of course everyone’s favorite “Secret Spot”!
I have been here in Alaska for several days now, on the Spirit in the inner waterway of Alaska. In fact I am writing this from our stateroom here in Ketchikan, Alaska. We are a little sad though, as tomorrow is the last day. But as someone said, “All good things must come to an end”, But why so fast?
We’ll see everyone in a couple of weeks for the start of “liar’s month”, but that’s ok, as some of the best yarns come out of this time of year.

Until next time…………………..
